The kids live for this part….
Easter morning… That bunny was busy this year. He figured out how to do appliqués…
Sawyer found this cracked egg and immediately announced, “I found ‘Poto’s’ egg. Here you go, ‘Poto’.” Isn’t she so helpful?…
Do you see any kind of resemblance between him…
… and him?….
After church, we’re off to Grandma and Papa Willey’s house for another Easter egg hunt…
There is just something about a little girl in her Easter dress…
There were 3 golden eggs… one for each child. Tuck was super excited when he found the first one.
And here is my sorry attempt at trying to get a picture of all three kids together. I would love to change the picture at the top of this blog but this isn’t doin’ for me. Tuck tried so hard to get the other two to cooperate…
… no luck WHAT-SO-EVER!
This one could have been so cute if all three little personalities would just cooperate for 2 seconds…
When you’ve had enough…
You’ve had ENOUGH!
We could not have asked for a more beautiful day today. A beautiful day to celebrate a beautiful HIM. Just like Christmas, I tend to let this holiday overwhelm me. It took my 5 year old to bring me back to reality. “It’s not about the candy and the bunny, Mom.” It’s NOT about the candy and the bunny … or the baskets or dresses … or the egg hunts or children being on their best behavior during the church service (which my kids were NO WHERE close to). It’s about a Savior. A Redeemer. A Bearer of all burdens.
HE IS RISEN!
