Random…

If you know how fast a camera shoots when you just stand there and hold down the button, you know how fast Tucker was ‘hamming it up’. 

 

And this little girl is going to have her mother’s complexion.  I remember in the 2nd grade when my mom got me this shirt that had an iron on (because that was the big thing on t-shirts back in the 80’s) with a curly haired girl with out-of-control freckles.  I had a perm back then… like everyone in 1982… and evidently Mom thought I resembled the girl on the pink t-shirt.  Beneath her cheesy smile it said, “Freckles are BEAUTIFUL!”  My mom has always loved freckles.  I, on the other hand, have not.  I remember her forcing me into that t-shirt (which, by the way, had my name in the back in shiny iron-on letters… did I mention it was 1982?)  I remember leaving my jacket on ALL day because I didn’t want anyone seeing such a shirt.  Did it really matter?  Evidently it did to me.  I grew up my whole life hating my freckles.  That is, until now.  I have a daughter with freckles and they ARE beautiful.  I now know what my mom was talking about all those years.  I just may have to find Sawyer a t-shirt one of these days:-)

And here they are, doing what they do best …. tormenting each other and loving every minute of it.  They have such a love – hate relationship.  They can’t live with each other but they can’t live without each other either.  As much as I hate the fighting, I know that their love for each other is equally as strong.

   

And then there’s this sweet little turkey bird.  He’s not quite big enough yet to join in on all the ‘fun’ but don’t think he hasn’t tried.  I have a feeling he’ll be the biggest bully of them all:-)
